After month of testing this module, I am little sad about it. I am experiencing the same issue described in this thread. Sometimes after I manually enable start-stop manually by pressing the button (shutting down the engine), module after about 2 seconds disables start-stop unexpectedly (effectively starting the engine).

Regarding the OP's issue, the stop/start will automatically disable if the car is attempting a regeneration of the DPF. The regen process requires increasing the temeprature inside the DPF to burn off the soot. Turning off the engine mid way through a regen means the car then needs to cool down the DPF as quickly as possible, in case you happen to be parked over dry grass for example, so the

God knows how long it will take for the information to get to the right person at the factory and then for the resolution to be communicated and implemented back down Jump-starting the Octavia is described in the manual re connecting the negative wire to the special connection point, not at the negative terminal of the battery. The vast majority of batteries have only lasted between 3 and 5 years before being unable to provide enough cold starting current for a winter start - even an AGM battery that was massively over-rated (cold climate diesel battery fitted to a petrol variant) only lasted 4 years in my other car (a Citroen C1) - which doesn't have stop-start.
